An artist of the Victorian Era, William Ford is understated with little biographical information. He was one of the artists who had developed a taste for pastoral paintings consisting of nice mountains, valleys, and Nature in all her glory, in Australia.
Some of his paintings are present in the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne. He passed away in the year 1886 at his residence, Cleeve Cottage.
